Holiday cheer

Flew into Tucson late last night and am enjoying some relaxing time with the fam!
Today I got crafty and helped my dad build a holiday decoration :)

It will look even prettier all lit up when it's dark!!
Happy holidays

Beauty

Procrastination brings about some lovely side effects.  Instead of packing, I've painted my nails, enjoyed some wine, watched Ally McBeal (true!!), thought about doing dishes (ugh, that's gotta happen too!), relaxed.. and cleansed my face!
I love trying different beauty regimes, so I was excited to stumble upon a little facial scrub recipe with ingredients I actually have (in my empty holiday-leaving apartment!!).

Honey Sugar Scrub (Love to SassyBella)

If you have ever used a body sugar scrub, you know how amazing they are. Work the same magic on your face!
1 tsp. of honey
1/2 tsp. of sugar (either cane or brown — both work well)
Blend in bowl. Apply.
Rinse very thoroughly, as this recipe can be slightly sticky.
I am thrilled with how smooth my face feels! It was exactly what I was craving, and I definitely plan on using this scrub regularly!!
One of the best parts? Since it's literally just honey and sugar, you can even use it on your lips to exfoliate and get ready for a red hot holiday lipstick!

working hard for the money

Hard to believe it's the last day of work before heading out on holiday vacation (yum!!). It's been quite the Revenge season so far (and we're only a little over half way through!!). A quick look back on S2 snaps.. and don't forget, you can catch up on any episodes you've missed this season over the holidays! Sit back, relax, and Revenge!

A lovely gift from our lovely writers!!

Rolling at Grayson Global *love those flowers!

Winter wonderland

I'm excited to finally be getting back to Toronto over the holidays! But with the frigid weather we've been having in LA, I'm quickly realizing I am not prepared at all for cold Canada days!! Trying to get some inspiration for staying warm... ok, ok - not sure the boots are the warmest option, but they're so sparkly and cute!!

Let it snow!

Boyf is going to need to give me some mulled wine to keep me warm from the inside out (recipe here by super sweet WhyDid)!

Red and Black

There's just something about red and black - velvet and leather - that's so hot!

This is from a year ago, and I'm still obsessed!

Salads

It's so exciting to be a BzzAgent because I get to try all these fun new things! The newest one to arrive in my mailbox: Lean Cuisine Salad Additions! It's actually coupons for them, so first things first, I need to stop by the store and get all my salad makings! I think they're going to add an awesome crunch to my salad and the premade options make for a quick and delicious meal! Can't wait to try them all out!

In the meantime - check out the delicious salad time lapse video I helped Boyf create!

**Tragically, No Doubt pulled the video due to criticism that it was racist. (I still love the looks, though!)

Disappointing Dogs

The Boyf is on a hot dog kick, so when I read about Fritzi Dog, a newly opened stand at The Grove, I was super excited to stop by with him.

We weren't the only ones with the Saturday morning hot dog idea (but probably the only ones eating them for breakfast at 2pm) but we waited in line and perused the menu. I love that there are so many options; different dogs, buns and toppings! We both went pretty basic with the stadium dogs but I went with the fancy pretzel bun!

Cute place and nice people, but I just wasn't impressed with the food. The hot dogs weren't that tasty, my bun was dry and we left less than impressed. Next time, we'll stick to the awesome meat sold just down the way at Marconda's Meats!

I'm back!

Missed me?
I took a break, but now I'm BACK!
Excited to share my obsessions

Hydration!

Burt’s Bees® Intense Hydration
I have really been enjoying the day and night intensive cream from Burt’s Bees! My face is always so dry so this thick cream has been wonderful and made my skin super soft! Definitely a great cream for the winter months and I need to go out and get a body cream because I swear one of these days I’m about to start using the face cream all over!!
